The San Antonio Symphony is pleased to announce a new, FREE program that will allow a limited number of middle or high school-aged schools or school groups to attend a dress rehearsal of the San Antonio Symphony at the Majestic Theatre. Groups will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the conductor of the rehearsal and select musicians from the orchestra.
The season four rehearsals have been designated Open Rehearsals, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 1-3:30, Friday, January 18, 2008 from 10-12:30, Friday, February 8, 2008 from 10-12:30 and Friday, May 9, 2008 from 10-12:30. There is a limited number of free tickets available to attend these rehearsals and ALL ATTENDEES MUST OBTAIN A FREE TICKET IN ADVANCE. Tickets can be ordered by contacting Stephanie Brimhall, Director of Education and Community Engagement at 210-554-1006 or by email at brimhalls@sasymphony.org. Tickets will be issues on a first come first served basis.
We would also like to remind the community that $1 student tickets are available for selected San Antonio Symphony Classical concerts at the Majestic Theatre are available. More information about these $1 tickets can be found by clicking here.
