¡Viva España!

May 7, 2013  to May 9, 2013

Enjoy a taste of the vivid sounds and flavors of Spain, from Aragon in the north to Andalucía in the south.

As a one-time world superpower, the kingdoms of Spain spread their rich culture and musical heritage throughout the known world … and beyond! This is one program that won’t disappoint, featuring Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol and the music of Albéniz, Granados, Lecuona, and Bizet. Don’t forget to have your students participate in our annual Paint to Music Contest; the winning artwork will be showcased as the Symphony performs!
