Hailed by the San Antonio Express-News as “a musician of rare authority,” San Antonio Symphony Principal Horn Jeff Garza, steps out in front of the orchestra to star in one of Mozart’s last works. Opening the program, John Adams’s Shaker Loops is an early minimlaistic masterpiece by one of America’s greatest living composers.  Closing the program, Edward Elgar’s magical Enigma Variations has delighted audiences for generations with its musical depictions of some of Elgar’s friends and loved ones.
