What do Fiesta and Baroque music have in common? Kings & queens, and parties on the river! Enjoy some of the most festive music to come out of the Baroque period, including Water Music by Handel, dances from Rameau’s opera Les Indes Galantes, and Purcell’s Fairy Queen. A husband-and-wife duo from the Symphony, Assistant Principal Oboe Hideaki Okada and violinist Sayaka Okada, will be featured in the Double Concerto for Violin & Oboe by Bach.
